About the Position

We are looking for a Director of Business Development with a proven track record both in sales growth as well as the growth of a sales team to join us here in our corporate office in Pewaukee. Here at Bevara we are all about building relationships- with our clients, our vendors, and each other as coworkers. We are looking to add someone to our team who can take what we’ve built and bring it to the next level.

The ideal candidate will be able to showcase previous experience in driving sales and forging new relationships. This person should also have experience with selecting, developing, growing, and managing a sales team. This is a new role for our company and will be supported right away by our Sales and Marketing Specialist as well as our President & CEO and Chief Operating Officer who are strongly involved in the sales process. Our ideal candidate will deliver a professional presentation to customers and uphold the ideals and values of Bevara.

Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for increasing the company’s revenue through sales, prospects, and clients
  • Lead and grow Bevara’s Sales and Marketing division by hiring and mentoring other sales professionals
  • Drive the creation and implementation of Bevara’s business development program; formulate strategies for both new and existing business
  • Track sales data - Develop and monitor performance indicators - Quotas/Goals set weekly/quarterly/yearly
  • Identify and implement improvements to the current sales process
  • Coordinate efforts between the sales team and the marketing team
  • Forge new business relationships and grow customer base with new accounts
  • Provide research, analysis, and recommendations on the external market as part of the development of strategic plans
  • Analyze major competitor strategies and monitor changing patterns of competition to recommend responses
  • Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • After taking the time to learn Bevara’s business, customers, and culture- begin selecting and growing a sales team to support further growth. The management of this future team would be a primary responsibility of the Biz Dev Director

 

Requirements:

  • Experience within the commercial real estate industry
  • Highly driven and ambitious
  • Self-starter who enjoys leading, growing, and mentoring
  • Previous experience in creating a sales and marketing plan to scale a company’s growth with demonstratable success
  • High school diploma required. Degree in business, marketing, or related fields preferred
  • 10 years prior sales experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the operations of CRM systems
  • Punctual, highly organized, and capable of meeting deadlines
  • Ability to think and perform well under pressure- highly adaptive and flexible
